In the beginning… It’s not a pretty picture! But I’ve got to start somewhere! So here she is…

All these poor forgotten ponies gotta start with love, I"ve seen some of our members do some amazing things with our old cars! You can do it !:D

Tid-bits:

1) All stock - No modifications

2) All VIN's match

3) 73,000 original miles - Matching title

A very nice first encouraging comment… Thanks!

Welcome from coastal Alabama! Looks like a 1F05H with auto trans, A/C, ginger sport interior and possibly rim blow wheel. How close am I?

I have a PA car in similar condition.

Not bad! But as I review your Mustang "inventory"... I'm not surprised! I’m re-creating my high-school ride. So it has to have an automatic… A/C… And will be blue-on-blue. Then I have to add a partial 4-barrel modification, dual-exhausts, functional hood-scoops, and hood-pins. Then I’ll truly relive the high-school days! …Hoping only good-memories will return… LOL

Blue with argent is my favorite colors for these cars. The blue interior will be awesome. Your car will take a lot of work so don't loose heart. Save and label the parts and you'll get it. Post any questions you have along the way. Good luck. ;)

I really appreciate the kind welcomes! And I’m going to need a lot of guidance!

Out of weeds... And into the garage! This is the first stop of four...

1) Paint-shop to dismantle, prime, get the engine running

2) Welder for needed replacements/repairs

3) Paint-booth

4) Delivery to my home-shop/garage for re-assembly!

where did you buy that bumper? i cant find the front bumpers online, the rubber ones.

Well I heard early on that getting a front urethane bumper would be difficult… Although I didn’t know if I would need one. Therefore I didn’t purchase a few that came up on eBay. But I did keep the name of the eBay folks. When I found out that I did need one… I re-contacted an eBay guy that had previously sold two of them. To my good fortune the seller had kept a third bumper that was the best of the three he had… I bought it.

I tend to dig and dig to get stuff. I’ve found some of my best finds on page 99 of a Google search! So don’t give up!!!

Exaggerated a bit... Maybe only page 98! ;)

my goodness you are persistent. Page 99! By then, I thought all the pages were in chinese or about viagra.
