My Car
1972 Mustang Convertable
302 v2 FMX 2.79 rear end
my car has Gabriel shocks that I bought from Autozone 10 yrs ago, and they are lifetime warrenty, I have replaced the 2 front ones a couple of times.

now the car is acting like all four shocks are weak again.

I'm looking for opinions, should I just replace with the sameones (Free under the warrenty), or are they any better ones out there, I don't race the car, just normal driving.

I was looking at the KYB gas-adjust shocks for $179 free shipping from MU. how are compared to others.

The standard KYB's from Rock Auto are $25 and $18 for each front and rear shock respectively. I think they handle better than the Gabriels and have lasted much longer.

The KYB gas-a-just shocks on Rock Auto are $136 + shipping if you would like to save some money.

For anyone who is looking for something a little more high-end, we offer a selection of bolt-in shocks for the 71-73. The VariShock bolt-ins come single adjustable, and double adjustable, or in our new Factory Valved setting. Pricing starts at $289 a pair.

Glad I haven't replaced my shocks yet, also can't wait to start my new career job where I'll have twice the pay and twice the benefits.
