Route 66 car festival

I'm going to try to make it this year. 3 days. Suppose to be big.

Last weekend was California's Route 66 Event in San Bernardino. I had a blast cruzin around the route with the cut outs wide open. People loved it. It was the event my car was built for. I saw several other 71-73s including a 429. Wonder if any of them are on this site.

The Route 66 Fun Run in AZ is a great one too. I did that a couple years ago. A hundred or so miles of some of the only original Rte 66 left in existence. You start in Seligman, AZ, which was used by Pixar as the basis for Radiator Springs in the movie "Cars". You end up in Topak, AZ, right on the CA border. A really cool drive. And when I went, we had over 800 vehicles partake!

Someday, I'm going to drive the whole thing from Chicago to San Bernardino...
