did some research and i can put in 3.73 or 3.55 in an 8" still kind of afraid of the 3.73... as far as changing the rear to an 8.8... seems to cost asmuch as putting the engine in... and at that point why not opt for the 9"??? also, Will i be able to move that car if i put the engine in before...

Well, i found a fix but its not the fix i wanted. Apparently the mid 70's to mid 80's model trucks fit the 69-73 model mustangs cougars and tourinos. NOT original which i dislike but the unit I'm thinking about getting is super clean and has FM along with AM/8 track, fixed but not so much
