W o w.....just saw this. Well played my friend. lolMy guess is you'll never forget that grill! It looks great. One other point the lights face forward. Sorry I just had to.
I know you're past this but I didn't see this addressed. If you're talking about the chrome trim part at the front of the fender, there are little plastic panels that come off that let you get to the bolts that hold those parts on. A little awkward, but not bad at all once you see how they're held on. I've had mine off a couple of times and it usually just takes a few minutes.1) whats the best way to get the extensions off
Yeah the bumper was a bit of a chore on my end as well. Not so much because it was difficult in theory, but because the bolts were rusted and I actually had to saw one off. Another issue I am finding with this car is that whoever put this thing back together after taking it apart on and off...literally put things back together with whatever screws or bolts they had lying around. Case in point, none of the hardware matches up. On one side of the bumper I had a nut and bolt system. On the other, someone just screwed in a large lumber screw into the metal. Headlights...out of the three bolts holding the housing in to adjust angle, I had one bolt half inch, one bolt and nut at an inch, and one screw directly into the metal. It's literally been a case of buying all new matching hardware, because everything has been thrown together with garage parts. Surprised the damn things aren't falling off while driving.I know you're past this but I didn't see this addressed. I just replaced my grill as well. Getting my bumper off was putting up more of a fight than I wanted to deal with so I took out the light buckets and the those fender extensions things and was able to do it all from the top and front.
