Installing grounded flashers is pretty easy. In essence, the plugs ought to plug into the original sockets, then it a matter of finding a suitable spot to connect the ground. As you've read in my post, I found that my original plug was wired wrong from the start. Small jumper wires fixed that problem. It just meant a bit more work!!Geoff, I just swapped all the bulbs in my cluster to LED, except the two turn blinkers and the Warning Lamp / Brake warning switch combo socket, I left those 3 incandescent for now. How much trouble is it to install grounded LED flashers on the turn and hazard circuits ? Worth the trouble ?
Also, don't forget that if your car has idiot light, the ALT bulb MUST remain incandescent.
I'm probably rehashing this, but that's all I can offer.
