I'm curious as to how the spoiler was mounted. The convertible deck lid has a different rib pattern inside which conflicts with the placement of the pedestals. Most installations I have seen involved hammering the ribs under the decklid to get them shaped to accept the bolts for the pedestals.

I'm not aware of anyone selling a well restored car who would be willing to remove a fender for any reason. I sure wouldn't, particularly if the tire kicker isn't paying to do it.

If things get dire, I have a full '71 convertible top frame, complete with latches. Problem is, I'm in Minnesota, and it would not package well. I get to St. Louis now and then and could bring it down at least that far sometime.

You will need new spindles, bearings, bearing seals, brake hoses, proportioning valve, proportioning valve brake lines, master cylinder and booster, booster mounting spacer, brake pedal, vacuum port on the block (larger, additional port for the booster), as well as calipers, rotors, brake water...

Sounds like you are missing 21546 and associated hardware and maybe 23288. I have those on the shelf if you need them.
