Front fender extensions- is there a diagram in the body assembly manual?

I have flipped through the body assembly manual twice. I can’t seem to find a diagram showing the front fender extensions. Anyone have a reference? Trying to figure out if any sort of seal or goo should be used

My car has never had anything between the extensions and the fender.

Same here nothing between the two, just some butal on the fastening nuts, is all mine ever had.
