    Why 71-73?

I have been a Mustang fan since I was a kid and my Dad bought a 1965 Fastback, black with pony interior. He later traded it in for another car and I remember being so disappointed that he didn't keep it. Later on I owned a 1966 fastback (let that one go when we had kids...) later in life I owned...

    Interior Quarter Panel screw

Thanks for the pictures! I didn't need the whole interior screw kit so I bought just the small interior Q-panel/kick panel screw kit (I think it was #504) from Mustangs Unlimited. It was just the screws with no info on where they should go. I have a blue interior and they said it should have...

    Blue Comfortweave Fabric

Looking for a remnant of blue comfortweave fabric approximately 16" x 22", enough to do one front seat bottom (all I need at this point) I have tried the usual source-SMS, and they haven't had any in stock for some time.  So, hoping to find someone who may have done new covers and has some...

    Interior Quarter Panel screw

The interior quarter panels were out of the car when we inherited our 73 convert. Is there any documentation that shows what type screws are used in which holes to attach the panels. I have looked in the 73 shop manual and other sources but doesn't show that level of detail. Thanks, Jim

    Fuel Hose Kit

I found when I was replacing my rubber fuel/vapor lines that Gates has a hose specifically for fuel vapor use, it was a little less expensive than the alcohol resistant fuel hose but not by much. As expensive as the hoses are I was glad to save whatever I could...

    SMS auto fabrics updated

Thanks, that is good information.  I had read on other forums about comfortweave fabric and its availability. one site had this posted back in 2017: "the only machines capable of producing that type of vinyl were located in Kyoto, Japan.  They were the sole supplier to everyone using that vinyl...
