Trim back the orange and apply a thin layer of blue silicone. I touch mine up with some ford blue paint. Not sure if that will last. Your engine is looking good. I'm sure your getting excited:).

Stopped by and looked at this Mach 1.Texas car, Argent and black, Auto, Non ram-air, No fold down seat. Looks good, minor imperfections. I will try to get pictures Thursday. Not sure about the miles yet. Thought somebody might be interested.

I used the $12 ones from autozone and they are at least a 1/2 inch shorter than the clamshell 73's. It makes the fan rub on the bottom of the shroud. I think a 1/2 inch shim plate where it bolts to the motor might work.Longer bolts would be needed.
