    Blue Thunder Install this weekend

Last fall I changed the stock cast iron clever intake that's in the wifes 67. Made a Big difference with that off the line feel. Even with the 3.70 gears before it was a bit sluggish with the cast. I just need too retune the Holley to fix the stumble it now has, but that's going to wait for...

    STEERING COUPLER PROBLEM SOLVED!!

Not to change the subject, but Scott Drake has a lot quality issues and they just don't care. My guess is that's why they using some other brand names. July will be one year since SD asked me to destroy the 2 wheels rims that had badly cracked and broken welds on the insides. So far they...

    Blue Thunder Install this weekend

I think it says on the permatex to not use if in direct contact with gas. Yes I always use Gasgacinch and just the metal turkey pan (no paper gasket) for intake. I just wish I know how to pronounce Gasgacinch......

    Front and rear glass trim

Having the right clips makes a big difference. The replacement I had gotten lately look the same till you take a closer look at the hook . It just too round too grip the trim right. Its best to use the oem's, but with a dermal you can make the new ones work.

MIG Welding - Go for it OR Leave it to the Pros

To be honest my first mig was a 120v unit and it was lets just say it was ok, but if you could afford a better 220v unit. The voltage output is much more stable keeping the wire speed more constant and heat. Much less frustrating and far less grinding. It pays for itself in the short run.

    Radiator air deflector

If remember correctly a 2 or 3 core share the same top and bottom manifold. Looking back I already was running a 3 core in the 72 and it would heat up in traffic. Took a junk 2 core to the rad shop to use the top and bottom and recore it to a 4. The man politely says I'm wasting my money, but...

    Radiator air deflector

Maybe it had something to do with the ordering district as the south and southwest being a much warmer climate. For 72 ford had cut the car prices a bit (today they call it a rebate) to compete, so maybe the first too go was that plastic thing. The 72 I have now days was ordered for the...

    Radiator air deflector

Me being an old guy that did ordered a new fresh from the factory H code Mach in march of 72 can add that it never had that piece thinking because it didn't have A/C. Most of the 71/73 parts cars I had over the years only had it for A/C to pull more air though the condenser. As mentioned most...

    Grabber Lime Restoration Update

Congratulations on your retirement. Did that a few years ago unexpectedly. Lets just say I had enough. I remember you saying about needing to move things when I got the fender from you. As Hemikiller said, as long it is a 3.03 being replaced. Even the speedo cable will reach if rerouted . Just need to change the driven gear for the other side.
