    Dim….Very Dim instrument lighting

Well its been a while but I FINALLY got my car on the road. My first spin around the block and it seems I am in the dim dash light club as well. Also my headlights seem to go bright and dim while driving as well. Do you think the light switch can contribute to this as well? I guess it could be...

    Mangled car names...

My roommate had a girl over one night, for some reason he took her to the garage to show her my car. She asks if it is a Charger, he replies no, its a Camaro!

    It's alive!

I'll cut a proper hole once I find a scoop that looks appropriate. I don't think there was any other option as I had to put a adaptor to put the Webber carb on, it was about 2 in thick. "iffy" is right! I was really surprised! I'll redo the motor once I figure out exactly how I want to build...

    It's alive!

I tried to add a sound clip, it says its not allowed. Of course I am not the sharpest pencil in the cup when it comes to computers.

    Some interior work

I used clothes hanger wire on the inside to pull the middle into the bolsters? and did use hog rings. I did not change the foam and could not get all the wrinkles out. Maby new foam would help that, not sure tho. It took me a month working on it off and on. I found it difficult but then again it...

    Some interior work

Thanks, It really looks better than the pic shows, I just don't have a decent camera. I had a much harder time than I ever thought putting those seat covers on. I don't sit any higher, I used the same foam from the old seats.

    Some interior work

Well I completely gutted the interior and am making progress to get it put back together. All new carpet, seat covers, seatbelts and dash pad.

    It's alive!

The ole 250 started on the first try! This sat since 87 with the valve cover off, no exhaust or carb. I put a new fuel pump, hoses and belts, put a header and carb, electronic ignition and changed the oil. Took a shop vac to clean all the rat poop and dirt from around the valves, put the valve...

    New Brakes!

Well I had a few days off and got new brakes all the away around! All new hardware, shoes, lines and a new master cylinder. Just waiting on the new rubber hose for the back. With the exception of the shoes it all had to be special ordered and took about a week to get. Just waiting on some motor...

    New in Texas!

Cool! I had a '69 sportroof 250. Waaaaaaay back when, my first car was a 69 sportroof with a 250 3 speed. I paid $125 for that car! Replaced the A frame where it sat, put a battery in it and drove it home. Alas, a deer crossing the road did the car in.

    Interior trim code

Interesting, my car has the AR trim code with the 4F paint code. So if I am reading that correct my interior should be black, white or ginger?

    New in Texas!

Thanks for the warm welcome. And so the parts hunt begins! I am finding dark green interior parts are almost non existant and I don't think a green dash pad even exists!

    New in Texas!

Hi yall! I just joined, just got a Mustang last week, fresh from the shed. It's not toooo bad, at least it isn't rusty. This has to be the least optioned car ever built! It's a 72 coupe, 250 six, three speed, no a/c, no power brakes, no power steering and drums all around. It does have an AM...
