Hello everyone, working on my 1971 mach 1 next weekend, am currently cleaning/removing rust from trunk, sanding, and then the big question. Should I paint the trunk, or use undercoat?

I'm not sure, the brackets sold at CJ pony parts say that they are only for the Chrome bumper and don't fit with the Polyutherane bumper, it's hard to find pics of what they look like. I did find a picture as I kept looking of a mach 1 bumper with brackets, So now I'm wondering if the brackets...

Anybody have a picture of what the 71 Mach 1 Bumper brackets looks like? I came across an original Mach 1 front bumper a while back, didn't realize brackets were different from the 73. At some point in my car's life, the front bumper got replaced with a 73 bumper and am trying to correct that...

Too late for me. I had taken out the old lines a while back. Had to cut some of them because they were impossible to remove.

Thanks for this info. Spent a good amount of time trying to figure this out yesterday, I had a feeling mine never came with the rear sway bar. Hard to tell when I'm the fourth owner and last guy that had it, near a 100 cards across different empty yards. Mine's an H Code, but true Mach 1.

Hello, I'm a bit lost here . What would be the correct brake line kit for 1971 Mach 1 with disc brakes up front and drums in the rear? I accidentally bought some wrong lines already, and would rather cut my losses and do a clean install, but it's hard to judge from the pictures on the websites...

This was brand new and only been on the car for a few months, is this normal?

Thanks Don,  yeah I'm ordering the switch but was wondering if this should be rebuilt since the switch was broken inside of it. The metal pin was bent, so I don't know if there's some damage on the inside, and would be worth rebuilding since going to be taking it out to clean it up before...

Was trying to put new brake lines on my 71 Mach 1 when I noticed that my Brake Warning Light (the green plug) was broken. Is it worth rebuilding my distribution valve, or should I just buy a new one? How difficult is it, I saw another post where someone posted a link to buy a rebuild kit. thanks!

So I accidentally messed up this little part here. Not sure what it's called or where I could find a new one. This is on the driver side door, the manual window crank attaches to it and allows to roll up /down the window.
