    Indy 500 and 73 Mach1

I was watching the Indy 500 pre-race show yesterday and there was a feature about a serviceman (Aaron Fields?) that had what looked to be a 73 Mach1 and other Fords. Did anyone know this brave solider who gave his life serving our country? I'm 90% sure his family was from the Indy area.

    Steering lock mechanism loose?

On my 72 Mach1 I cannot remove the key after turning the car off unless I twist the half inch wide piece on the column that is just below the flange casting. Do I just need to take off the wheel and look to see if something is broken inside? Has anyone had this problem and how did you fix it...

I have chatted with this gentleman briefly before but I chatted with him for about ten minutes at a show and I told him about the website so hopefully he will post the story of his Mach1 he has owned for a very long time. I'm pretty sure he said he was the original owner. I drove my Cobra to...
