I did a search, couldn't find this one. Anyone have this size wheel on a stock width rear?

Looking for similar information on the rear wheel size.

I have been told by a local drag racer with a '71 Grande that he is running 15x11 on the rear without cutting anything. I haven't seen the car in person so it may be BS. Based on my measurements, I am confident a 10" width will work easily with the proper backspacing.

I want to run the Nitto Drag Radial 305/60R17 on the rear once I get the big block installed.

I had to look it up, so 6.5" BS.

I am using a 1/4" spacer but it would work well with out it. That said a 6.25" BS works as well. I have enough space to fit a 305 and probably a 315 but it doesn't make sense in a 10".

Doing some math to answer your original question, the 11" wheel with a 6" BS would stick out 1.5" more than mine which i think it would be too much. It will fit but depending on your suspension the tire may contact the fender. I would prefer a 6.5" or more BS. I cant guarantee because it depends on the tires but a 7" BS may fit. If not you can always use a spacer.
