Sunday post update: Been crummy weather here in Orlando as of late, so despite my enthusiasm after getting back from Mecum, there has only been some small progress. because its either been too cold in the garage or raining. The good news is that all the running issues have been resolved and I have been taking her out daily. Nice to be able to drive it without worrying about issues (knock on wood). For those wondering, it was indeed some crap inside the carb that got in there from the old fuel lines, so problem solved on that.

With most of the exterior work done (with the exception of having it scheduled to have that rear window section fixed next week...2k by the way) I switched attention to the interior of the car and getting that all corrected. Got the passenger side floorpan in, did some other minor repairs and strengthening..and then started laying down the sound / heat material. That stuff certainly makes a difference, the noise change was almost immediate. Also installed new shocks front and rear and then went on a spending spree ordering new carpet, new seats (bought a set from JEGS) new steering wheel and laptbelts. Also have some parts coming from Motorcity to replace the speedo cluster, AC/heat unit, and some other minor things.

Since I already had the parts, I started working on the new door panels, armrests and putting in new clips. So all of that being said, I should have photos soon of the revitalized interior. Going to wait on the back seat, as I haven't really found a worthy replacement...and I still have to order a headliner, but waiting on that until I get the windshield and again, that rear window work done. I thought I would combat the weather and put on new wiper blades, but of course the ones on there were older than the hills, and I ended up screwing those up trying to get them off, so I then had to order upgraded arms now...as that ended up being a cluster.

Oh..random question....when I cut out and replaced the passenger side floor pan, there was a housing welded to it right under pan, which had a hook that was holding a group of two wires. What is this? (see photo)

AND for those of you that ordered shirts, the delivery is scheduled to arrive to me by the 29th. So I will start shipping out your shirts by the end of the month. Just an update.

Happy Sunday gang. Have a good one.

That is the parking brake bracket and cable hook that branches to the rear passenger parking brake mechanism.

Glad to hear you solved the running issue. What did you do to clean the carb out? Excited to see your interior come together. The before and current pics really put into perspective how far it's come already. Nice work!
