2 questions on the seats

1. in the first picture is that something that I could hand stitch back together myself or would I have to take it somewhere and if I did how much would that cost ish.
2. How can I get the rest of the vinyl/foam off the frame, I have unhooked everything I can see but it still doesnt want to come off

It looks like the seat cover can be repaired as the thread has broken or rotted. If you turn it inside out, you should be able to re-sew the pieces together. Make sure all the hog rings are removed from the upholstery and the listing wires.

It’s surely repairable but as it looks like both sides from the ‘cord’ got loose, and I bet the old wire holes are stretched or open till the side. So to sew that back and end up with something that doesn’t burst first time you sit on the seat, I would for at least 2 inches before and after the opening double and glue a strip of nylon cloth from the back. Then sew back.taking the strip together with the vinyl.

While the answer to #1 is 'yes,' to Fabrice's point- is the seat cover material strong enough to use after the repair? The vinyl looks dry and brittle, I would be concerned that it would just tear or fail somewhere else after you spent time fixing that area.

For #2, I think the foam was hog-ringed to the seat frame before the cover went on, and then the cover was hog-ringed to the frame through the foam. There might still be some hidden hog rings at the back, under the cover but through the foam...

Unfortunately I have no idea, I haven't been down this road before.
