3 speed manual trans problem

I have a 1973 mustang with a 3 speed manual. The motor apparently is locked up and I was going drag it onto a trailer to weld in floor pans. Well I yanked on it with my 48 F1 to drag it up on the trailer but forgot it was in gear... well now it wont ingage first or reverse and second and third is rough getting it into gear with the car just setting there. What did I screw up?

Should not have screwed up anything. Get the manual out and do the alignment of the shift rods so you know they are right. If in gear and locked up would have slid rear tires or turned engine.
