Does anyone make a 351C Solid Engine Mount for a 72 Mustang?

Not sure of any solid mounts apart from custom made

Reckon solid mounts would send a bit of vibration through the chassis

For what it is worth I used an Aussie engine mount which is not solid but has a firm/replaceable urethane bush

remember engine and transmission mounts must be compatible all should be the same material

Solo Motorsports makes very nice engine mounts for 351W and 302W for Trucks. Im sure if you talked to them, they could make a version for a Cleveland to go in a mustang.

These chassis flex. Solid mounts will try to overcome the flex, as the engine and transmission will not flex. The likely result will be cracked mounting points or crossmembers. They need some movement, not much, but some.

Be careful with the do it yourself mount design. While it will work, the bolts are in double shear and bolts typically are not rated for this loading. The shank must fully extend through the mounting tabs as thread on a tab will weaken the mount considerably. Also the tab metal should not be harder than the bolt material.

Captive mounts on a 73 are in double shear from the factory though and I can't say I have ever seen a bolt failure in that application.

I should have mentioned I don't care about vibration, this is for a circle track car. It is not driven for comfort.  These mounts are interesting! Thanks for the link!.
