I know it's a 429CJ, but isn't $28K a bit much for even one of these in mediocre condition?

Granted, a perfect base Sportsroof 429CJ did sell at BJ for $63,500, but that's still BJ - and it was a fully restored car down to the last washer.

All I see here is a pair of Hella lamps screwed onto a car that has been photographed specifically to hide the fact that it has a new taillight panel and primer on the right rear of the trunk. Sure - it's a nice 429CJ survivor, but not $28K nice.

I just bought an original 48,000 mile 429 CJ Fastback for $22,000, and bought a restored 429 CJ Mach 1 for $26,000 a couple of years back. Thinking $28,000 is a little high for today.

I paid 21k for mine, which was/is in better shape than that one, But I have since spent 10k+ on mine in minor rust repairs, body was pretty good nothing major and panel/paint and a few other things.

I think 20k would be a better starting price for the other one. Their where only 64 grabber yellow J-Code automatic cars made. According to my Marti report.
