Ok I looked through the registry and I saw a lot of 73s and the occasional 72. Am I the only one here with a 71 vert? Come on guys speak up, where are you?

The '71 are like almost the '60's whereas the '73 is like Mid-70.

Think of all the technology that changed over those 2 years.

Lemme put this in as a compromise. Mine is a 72 but was built in 71. :)

If I wanted a 73, I coulda bought a new car instead. :p

Now guys we all know the 71 was a better looking car with a more comfortable interior and more HP...LMAO
I hate the door handles on the '71.

Yeah kinda like a vette in reverse. All jokes aside I do like the handles on the older stangs better...something to grab onto you know.

Whew, I thought I was the only one who couldn't appreciate the look of the older 71 mustang convertible. I mean, really, those cars are over 40 years old. Mine is still 'thirty something'.

Not to worry! Looks like I had your long lost twin brother 71' vert before it went into the Paint shop!

These guys all wish thety had a 71' because they are worth more and are better looking!!!:D

Can't wait to see pics of your vert put back together...looks great...and if mine was not a 71 I would not try to fix the extensive rust. But they are worth saving to me especially the 71s
