72 Coupe - Almost Done (Finally)!!

5 year build is now down to a few hrs of work:

All trim is installed, interior reinstall is just about done. front, rear valances and mirrors have been installed. Need to install the new steering wheel, front spoiler, rear trim pieces and door panels.

Need to find the rear bumper filler extension (can't find it). If anyone has one for sale, let me know. I might have to buy another one, and the DON'T MAKE THESE AFTERMARKET!

Purchased the Pypes Performance Exhaust system. Read the reviews and decided to go with this kit.

Can't install it yet, had to order ball flanges. Summit is sending next day. I'm trying to have it done for the Easter show on Sunday. Might not make it....... It's cool though because the annual "Mustang Roundup" in STL is in 2 weeks. She'll be done for sure by then.

Taking 1/2 day tomorrow and Friday off to try to get it done. The door and trunk jambs have since been painted since this video.

The next time I post, she should be all done and cleaned up.

It's a Spectre Performance Intake. Got it from Summit

Need to find the rear bumper filler extension (can't find it).

71-2 did not have an extended rear bumper 73 did.

Hard to tell from the vid, if the bumper is sticking out you have 73 brackets, you need to get some 72 brackets they are about an inch shorter and make the bumper tuck in.
