72 Fastback - 351C-4V, Fitech EFI, T56 Magnum 6 Speed
When people give me crap for my car not being stock, I can take comfort in knowing that this slightly modified 72 is out there:

1972 Ford Mustang $17,000
Under the hood sits a 351 Windsor 5.8 Liters V-8 that kicks up 300-hp and is tethered to a quick shifting 3-Speed Automatic Transmission Currie 9 Inch.
Rearend features the 9-Plus notch back heavy duty housing and 31 Spline performance axle package built to the stock overall width and are installed in the stock location for ann easy bolt installation.
Housing includes all Third Member Studs installed and the Torino style late model large bearing housing ends
Axles include the stock 5 on 4 1/2" wheel bolt pattern drilled in them. Wheel studs installed, 1/4" thick heavy duty bearing retainer plates and tapered Timken style wheel bearings pressed on. This unit will allow for the use of any ABCS brake kit including the 11" drum brake.

I think they should check the water supply in California for hallucinogen content. These example go way beyond simple bad judgement and poor taste. Chuck
