Ok here is another odd one.
I was going to try to figure out why my glove box light wasn’t working.
Opened the glove box and the light didn’t come on. Then I open the door to get out and the glove box light came on.
My car has the convenience group with the seat back release. Maybe I have the door switch hooked to the wrong connector?
Also the center light above the gauges lights up when the doors are opened but won’t light up with the switch and the doors closed.
Also back to the blinkers. The front blinkers work with the headlights or running lights off. But turn the running lights or both and the front blinkers don’t work but the back ones always do.
Thanks

Glove box light should only illuminate when the glove box is opened, as the switch completes the circuit to ground. The map light is always hot, the switch is either "on" or off and illuminates with the dome and footwell lights when the door is opened.

I'm thinking you may have some ground circuit issues. I'd verify the ground on the relay panel above the glove box is secure and the panel is secure to the dash. If the panel has been painted, it could cause a problem.
