That would be an awesome grocery getter!

Those blocks were made to be tougher than race motors. If its real, and not damaged, worth some money for the engine trans. Id pass on the LTD.

Too cool ! I had one of those in high school , but it was a 70 LTD 351 C -6 , crème yellow and black vinyl top. Actually I just discovered the old radiator out back , the radiator shroud will fit the mustang ! :)

I love big old Fords so if I had the money and garage space I would be all over this.

+1

Very cool ride. My dad drove a similar car in the Oklahoma oil field.

I drove it a little when he'd let me. ;)

I had a 71 with a 351 C6 in high school. Red 2 door with a black vinyl top

Those are cool cars, like others, if only I had the space!

In high school I had a 1969 Dodge Polara which was a retired California Highway Patrol pursuit car, it had the 375hp 440 under the hood and would scream, there was nothing like the sound of that 440 when the petal was to the metal (which was quite often just to hear it roar). I traded it in after about a year because it was using oil plus huge gas hog, I think I got like $800.00 trade in for it. I later found out that Dodge special built about 1,500 of them for CHP, all with the required CHP heavy upgrades to be used as pursuit vehicles. They're now very collectible, wish I still had it.
