Mechanical race style pump for Windsors. Got a couple of them years ago from a used NASCAR parts warehouse, and I believe they're from Robert Yates' shop. They're lightly engraved with "RYR", "Qual", and some other hard to read numbers that might be a serial or control number. There's nothing else fancy externally aside from an epoxied pivot pin. Kinda surprised the castings aren't even deburred.

I don't know a thing about these kind of pumps and have no clue what's stock and what's not. Haven't taken them apart yet, but he diaphragm looks to be fairly thick and cloth fiber reinforced. Has anyone had any experience with surplus pumps like this? I wonder if the spring(s) or diaphragm may be too strong for use with a standard eccentric in street duty.

Worth trying as is, or rebuild with a standard kit?
