Looks good, I suppose you've tried teflon tape for the threads.

Born an I-6, spent the teenage, 20 and 30 years as a 302, but at 40 will reach full potential as a 351C.
Coolant is extremely slippery and has a very low surface tension, so it sneeks through STRAIGHT PIPE. If you find some way to add a lip to your pipe, then you will be in good shape.
You may notice on the new cars, they use really crappy hose connectors on the radiator hoses because the connector just needs to keep the hose on. For the most part, the lip keeps the coolant from leaking.
$21.99 for a coolant hose bleeder...Can't you get a new radiator for $21.99 from Ohio Mustang?
