Correct Trunk Paint

Looking for the correct trunk paint for 71 MACH 1. Was it the light grey spatter or the darker blue/black spatter? The 429 Mustang Cougar site shows both colors in their trunk area for different 71's and I am a bit perplexed, which is correct?

71 trunk color is the lighter gray with white flecks. The black or dark gray with aqua splatter is correct for 72 and 73. Here is the place I purchased mine from for my 72. You will need a big orifice gun.

Correct color for 72

Thanks Brian, seems the 72's are a bit easier to determine. I've seen the 71's with light grey and with dark grey. Just seems no two 71's are the same...
