Cowl vent air chamber

I was vacuming out my cowl air vent chamber and thought it may be nice to give it a hit of flat black spray paint in the chamber since a person can see it thought the cowl vents. Is this a bad thing to do or something that I should be careful with regarding the type of paint?

Just prep and clean per your paint's instructions and you should be okay. I like VHT Chassis and Roll Bar spray paint. SEM is a popular choice, also.
