i'M ALWAYS cautious when a FOR SALE ad starts out "just testing the waters"....either you want to sell it or you dont.

I had info either this car or one very close to it...has some un revealed rust in it. But dont hold me to that, I'll try to see if I can find the info and validate.

I agree, either you want to sell it or not. About a year ago, my buddy posted a car on Craigslist he had for sale and started his post in the same way. When I asked him why, he told me he didnt want any buyers thinking he was desperate to sell his car and to keep the low ballers away.

Hey Joey

Yeah I kinda get that but when I see that it says to me.... "if they are not serious why should I waste my time if its not really for sale" One example a few years ago I go out at least an hour drive. The guy was asking me a lot of questions about his car. I found that odd so I played along, I discovered quickly he just wanted to see what his car was worth.

here's another one I dont get. There are 4 pages of Trans Ams for sale..."LOOK" :D Now if he's a flipper...just say "I buy cars"
