Curious if anyone has tried running side scoops or quarter window scoops on a 71-73 Mach 1.

I can't say I've ever seen it on a Mach 1, and maybe that's for good reason, but curious what it would look like if anyone has done it.

Not something I plan on doing, just has my curiosity burning. If you've done it or have any pics post them below. I like looking at custom body kits, and all the imagination people put in their hotrods.

Somewhere along the line, here on the boards, I remember seeing a sportsroof with those modifications. It may have been drawn in with a computer. I can't remember if it looked out of place, or looked hot.

It's strange, with how iconic those scoops are on fastbacks you would think there were atleast some people that gave it a go.
Hood scoop from '71 Torino, Side scoop from '69 Shelby, Tail panel '68 Shelby.
Very cool! Really like the duckbill rear deck lid, that's actually something I would like to have. Scoops look cool to but would like to see a full size view if you have one. Thanks for sharing!

I like the rear deck as well. I’ve looked and couldn’t find anything for a 71-73.
Same I can't find anything like that, I've tossed around the idea of fabricating my own. If I can find a Shelby in person to take some measurements I might do it.
