Hey Guys, had a question for you that have gone with Dakota Digital. Coming up on the tail end of my 73 Mach 1 project. FMX/Motor rebuild is done, Fitech is installed, Truetrac/3.5 rear, and ended up having to do a full rewire using AAW due to some super shoddy wiring/age. My tach didn't want to work with the new setup, so it was sent out by the shop it's at to be rewired. Got it back, they installed it and it worked for about 2 minutes. So they took it back out, sent it back, re-installed it, and worked for about a minute and got pinned at 3k rpms (motor was idling). So something isn't working right. Its at a reputable shop and someone they have always used to fix gauges, but its pretty frustrating. This might be a dumb question but can these always be repaired or time to put a nail in it? He is going to attempt to get it working but recommended (didn't try to sell me on it) going with Dakota Digital, especially based on the new wiring/fitech setup that I have. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I do like the idea of precise readings and everything working together considering the amount I have put into this thing. It also looks like it comes with the Oil pressure/volt/temp setup so I can still keep the factory look.
