Starting on my project! 72 Coupe, the previous owner "Tried" to put Lambo door hinges on it...
The bottom hinge has 1 bolt hole messed up that the bolts thread into that hold the hinge on, where they drilled it oversize. The top plate on the passenger side has 1 bolt broken off in it, and 1 hole drilled out oversize. The driver side top, the plate is gone, I don't know if it has dropped down, (If they can), or what. All that is there are the outer square holes, no plate to be seen.
Can they be changed, and if so, how? I am putting normal hinges on it.. As a side note, anyone want some Lambo hinges? lolol
They aren't made for a Mustang from what it looks like, they only had 1 bolt up top and 1 on the bottom. Not sure what they were thinking, lol. But I got the car thru an impound in California, and it is pretty solid, so I will fix this. Thanks for any suggestions! Earl
