Very interesting, folks.
I sorta guessed at mine as to be honest, I really didn't understand how the adjustable can worked. I know my mechanical all in is 34 degrees with an initial of 14 degrees i.e. 10L slot (made that too) and the all in with vacuum is about 38 deg.
As I want to revisit my carb PV and accel pump settings when the weather warms up, I'll also look at the timing and vacuum advance again, I'll be revisiting this post for info.

What is the vacuum level needed to fully actuate the VC31? Was the amount needed the same, or close to, for the different ranges you measured? Knowing that will help me to decide which can would work best for me. I don't really like the type I have...presumably the 210?
