Well, these ones are rotten and falling apart and replacements for them are like $1400.00

I'm fairly certain you can score a set of half decent deluxe panels for a fraction of that around here.

Hello guys, well I ended up buying the 72 Mustang with 351 C , some work on the 4160 carb kit, ignition, and entire fuel system and I got it running really nicely, engine sounds bitching nice cam and 140 psi down the banks compression. I'm looking at a door panel kit from CJ Pony and wanted to ask you guys will this kit convert my 721 mach 1 style panels to the standard , all parts seem included in this kit.

Congrats! Yes, that kit, along with changing the door latch releases to the standard style, will work for your doors.

FWIW, I have had the Mustang Market deluxe panels on my car for about 30 years. They take a little patience trimming around the door handle opening, but fit well and have held up well.

They look like they do not have the pull handles nor the inserts with the wood grain. If yours aren't trash, you can reuse them. They come off fairly easily.
