I've got 15 of the correct cleveland type Robertshaw 192 degree thermostats with the hat if anyone needs one.

I have 2 clevelands and both run at perfect temps even when its 115 degrees outside. Trick is to have a clean radiator but also a clean block in the water passages. Some people try to blame overbored engines for the overheating but they are wrong. It's more than likely 40 years of gunk in the block.

WOW. Ok, good to know. I haven't had any overheating issues, I did replace the thermostat and waterpump a year or so ago. Now I wonder if that restrictor is there...I'll have to check for it the next time I'm in there.

wow great info will have to check mine to see if it's still there. I have had overheating issues with the Cleveland.
