Went to check on the car today and the new top is on!

The shop did a great Job. Next he is going to fix the lousey wrinkly job I did on the front seats. :dodgy:

Body shop did first buff, looks pretty good.

He said that there will be two more buffs after the he paints the black out on the hood. You can see in the pics that he started to prep the hood.

Just one more week then I can put the interior back in.

Maybe it'll br ready for the 4th of July::chili::

Very nice. I know all '72 convertibles were equipped with deluxe interiors, but with yours a 71, which did it come with?

And are you going back with stock?

Just curious.

Thanks! Ray

Thanks, while the car was getting painted, I have been working on freshening up the Deluxe interior. re-dyed the door panels and rear panels.

Aside from the speakers in the rear panels, the interior will be stock.

I will be installing center gauages and sending out my idiot light cluster to be converted to a tack at a later date.

Nice color (is that "Goldenrod?"). That's going to be a great looking car.
Nope, that is Medim Yellow Gold with a little bit of Silver Pearl mixed in.

When it's inside, it looks loke the original color but outside in the sun it sprkles nice.:D
