On more the budget custom end, I've had a CoverKing cover for about 2 years now for my car that lives in my driveway in So Cal. They are made to order and custom to the model. I got the cheaper "Silverguard" cover which was like $165 shipped on a Black Friday sale. This one is well made and fits nicely. Probably not as soft as I'd like on the inside. It's warrantied for 3 years, but assuming that's prorated or something as I doubt they'd replace a full cover after a couple years baking in the sun and weather.

While mine is still holding up, it's looking tired after the summer. I've used a lot of covers on cars and boats and am pretty happy to have something survive 2 years looking decent with no rips or anything. I've treated it with some waterproofing spray a once and actually sprayed on some ceramic coat stuff for the car on it and that does seem to help the water bead up which of course helps keep water from passing through it but mostly to make the cover easier to clean as I can just rinse it off and most of the dirt and dust just rinses away.

I'll probably get another this Black Friday but not sure if I'll do this one again or spring for one of the higher end models.

lucky you. 4 atmospheric rivers so far..just in the process of closing in the carport with Kingspan panels, new garage door insulated, hoping the cover option wont have to happen but will stay tuned to your boys conversation..
