I told a fellow member I'd share my results of the MP products panel install.

This was preceded by a few post of mine asking advice along the way from all the great members.

I'm ok with what I ended up with, look at what I started with!   I'm anal and had them in and out of the car about 30 times on each side trimming, spacing

fitting again and again.  The MP panels which are two pieces don't fit well together at all, let alone in the car.

One pic show the 8/32 nuts I made and plastic epoxied to the back side of the panels to hold them together.

A shout out to the SEM paint I get at NPD, AWESOME!

Andy, they turned out great! I just got mine out of the box tonight and wow! They are gonna need some work! I like your epoxy idea. Thanks for sharing! I'll take a few pics when mine are done.

I used these in my vert and they are pretty thin and super flexible. I used a could of flat pieces of ABS and used ABS glue to reinforce them. Worked great.

Damn, if it were me, I would take these, glue them together, re-enforce the back with carbon fiber, then fill the seam with body filler and sand. Then use them as a plug to make a mold to create much better panels.

Happy they worked out for you.

MP Products was the worst company I have ever dealt with when it comes to the classic car hobby. The panels they sent me did not fit my vert and imo, were vastly under mfr'd and i am glad i did not use them. I think with additional reinforcing they will work if they initially fit your car though.

Hope others have better luck if they choose to use their product, as some here appear to have had success...
