Ok so I said i would get around to doing this and after searching the forums here I found how to post videos..lets see if it works.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJvUqiKUp70

It was getting dark so the lighting is not very good. The video was taken from my phone and with the exhaust cut off it sounds horrible but in reality it sounded better like it was running. In the video it just sounds like its cranking the whole time.

Anyway its not much but it's a start. Hope the link works enjoy:D

oh and forgot to mention it was taken by my wife so i could see how bad it was leaking fuel.

Very nice - the video came through just fine. Was this just after a rebuild or some kind of modification? I have rebuilt two engines and it is always good to hear it fire for the first time:D I always get the thought that I might have left something out deep in the bowels of the engine right before I turn the key. Then when it fires up you get some confidence back and pretend you never had doubts!

nope this was i hooked fuel up to it, charged the battery and turned the key for the first time in 4 years!!

oh i did change the oil filter and added four quarts to make her full:)

Good news! I bet you felt great when it cranked and started!
Oh you have no idea, its like a adrenaline rush without the speed. I was even happier it didn't knock or smoke or and of that bad news jazz. I'm totally stoked about getting her going. The wife was happy too! She though it was just a pile of scrap metal sitting beside our house. She slowly coming around to wanting me to fix it up, mainly because it was my 65 stang that brought us to start dating in the first place. My wife loves anything ford/mustang!

In one of the other threads you talked about how bad your is, take a good look around there are some serious projects going on here, Mine is mostly done now but was not always the case. My GF just bought a 70 project that is next. But like I said what we did with hers a printed a pic of what we want the finished car to look like and keeps the dream alive.

Here is a start of mine and finishes(mostly)

wow you did a good job on your car! looks like you didn't even have a engine when you started.

Well i guess it's just so much to soak in at one time maybe. I think only thing missing off mine is the rear panel between tail lights and a passenger seat.
