After having pain in my upper left chest and my left arm feeling weak for about a day, I finally decided to go to the ER. After spending a day of poking, prodding, blood letting, and EEG's they decided it was probably not my heart . But I have to take a stress test on Monday. I did one of these back in 2008 and they just about killed me on the treadmill. Anyway, my arm is still week but most of the pain is gone, so we will see what the stress test turns up.

I hope all goes well and that it's something simple like you slept wrong and caused arm issues. That happens to me on a regular basis.

Keep us posted.

Stress tests suck. No one likes them. No one is cured by taking one.

Just have them prod you up the ying yang. Less time, more pain, but long term results.

Best of luck to you.

Sorry to hear that Mike. I don't know if it's an option for you but they can do a chemical stress test. That's what my Dad did because he has bad knees.

Keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best. Had to take a stress test in my early 20s due to a few scares with my own . Not fun. :-/

Best of luck! I know those stress tests can be Hell... I've even known a friend who was put into the hospital 'because' of the stress test. Hopefully, you will have a good day with nothing to worry about and no new meds at the end.

Thanks for all the well wishes.

I made it through the stress test and will hear results next week. The tread mill was not bad at first, but they crank up the speed and really raise the incline at the end. The wanted to know one minute before I needed to stop so they could make an injection for the test. That last minute was rough! Also did two 15 minute heart scans, one before and one after after the treadmill.

Thanks again.
