Did a simple intake gasket change yesterday - got it done and it has a vac leak. (I have no clue why)
Pulled the distributor out to make the intake swap easier - the oil pump shaft pulled out of the oil pump. I must have not put the little clip on it when I built the engine. (Forgetful?)
My tried and true trick to get a hold of the shaft and drop it back into the pump took 2 hours not 10 minutes (because I can't see anything within 3 feet of my face)
Static timed the engine before starting and was off a tooth or two - had to do it over again. (Think I am loosing my muscle memory)

All that said I am happy as a clam! Get up everyday with plenty to do. Nothing but fun to be had. And everything that started hurting at 60 has now gone completely numb!
