- Nothing yet, but the plan is to have a 71 to 73 Sportsroof with an EFI big block and a sis speed.
Thank you for all the responses and warm welcome. I've made the necessary arrangements (thank the maker for UHaul) to pick up the car and close the sale next Saturday, and I'm beyond stoked to get to work on it.
So we all like having something that makes our cars just a little bit unique, and I think found it in mine. Since most of the finish work will be focused on the interior, I started looking for info and pics. Well turns out that GA trim code, Mach 1 Black Knitted Vinyl, is a 73 interior trim. Which makes sense since the build date of 07/72 would have been during the transition to the new model year. It wasn't unusual for Ford to incorporate features from the new model year late during the current year. It was likely the car was ordered with the CA trim, but inventory and supply caused the change to GA.
I'll start a build thread once I pick up the car.
