Aside from the looks, that setup probably works better with doors that don't weight a gazillion pounds. Appreciate you posting the pics, and good luck with your project.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of those doors! lol It looks like there is a strut or something missing, it will open, but not stay up on it's own. I haven't got into the trunk yet to see if there are more parts there, I'm hoping the rest is there. I plan on taking it all off anyway, and changing back to normal hinges, and selling or scrapping these!! At least it doesn't appear they hurt the doors or car itself, they aren't welded or anything that I noticed. Does seem like ALOT of door for something like that!!
