My Car
1972 Grande
Hello all,

Just got home with my latest treasure, a 1972 Grande! It was almost a barn find. Well, it came from a farm with a barn but the car was in a garage. The original wheels were in the barn so there's that!

Car has 72k miles on it and is rust free. Interior is passable after a good cleaning and I hope to get it up and running soon. The car has been off the road for almost 40 years but the engine isn't locked up and the brakes actually still work.

Plan for now is to get it running, go over everything and make it safe and just drive as is for now. It has a 351C, auto, A/C, tilt wheel, PS and power disc brakes. Nice, complete and original car.

That is one great, solid looking project car. Should be a fun resto! I like the color too!

Great find! Looks a lot like mine which was a garage find sitting for 41 years.
Just take your time and massage it back to life.
I soaked the cylinders with transmission fluid and left it for a few weeks before before turning it over but mine was stuck.
Have fun bringing it back to life!
