At least you're not picky. Wire a Blaupunkt car stereo into your home system.
Actually, for the garage I have a nice compact Pioneer hooked up to my spare batteries, hooked up to my trickle charger.

If it wasn't for all the space the batteries take up, or all the space and heat a 12VDC power supply and external amp would need to put out some watts, I would absolutely pick out a nice double din auto HIFI. Maybe I can mount that power supply on the wall.
How many amps do you think an amp would draw because you could wire up an old PC power supply to give you 12v, 5v, and 3v. I use a PC power supply all the time for lights and checking things.

No on Marantz?..lol.....Well maybe there new stuff not that great "sence its owned by pioneer anyways".I been using a old Marantz from 1979 forever...lol.,,85w x 4..I finaly stuck it away cause its getting kinda valueble...and picked up a cheap 1000w RCA Surround sound...With my marantz...I ran two pioneer 15's and two matching 12's and horns....It would make my house rumble...Could wake the block at will.....even had my computer ran threw it....Worked great..sounded great.....I hooked up this RCA...That brags it can hit at 1000 w "my arse" It can barely handle 1 of my 15's..and none of my 12s...and only little tweets....lol....beware of the cheap surround sound powerheads...lol

After i blow that thing up...Im dumping some money into one of these http://www.ebay.com/itm/PYLE-800W-8-CHANNEL-4-Ohms-PRO-PA-POWERED-MIXER-USB-MP3-INPUT-110-220V-/271006938816?pt=US_Live_Studio_Mixers&hash=item3f1945b6c0 Even has USB dock for ipods and mp3 players...Can hook anything up too it...It will sound better than any crappy 200 dollar sterio..and you can hook anything into it....But you do have to run your own music into it...But heck...I run all that mostly in my computer anyways..just going to hook it up to that.
