Kit, are you trying to be funny or tick me off? My post was a genuine comment in that I don't see hubcaps anymore on cars or available for sale and that the ones offered here look pristine. I don't know mach1000 any better than I know you and have never bought anything from him.

Please refrain from one word remarks like this that can very easily be interpreted negatively...or join some other forum where this type of behavior is the norm.

Boy, I was just trying to sell these hubcaps I didn't think were worth much... I don't see that much of a market for them. Everyone wants after market rims or Magnum 500's. I'd still take $30. plus shipping unless someone wants to give me more!!

They are in exceptional condition except for a small dent in one. They were put in storage by the guy I bought my Grande parts car from. He put slotted mags on it until someone t boned him and totaled the car. Which I subsequently bought.

And no I don't know Don65stang other than from seeing his posts and comments on this site..

I agree, I ran across a set of really nice set of Mustang hubcaps "I felt were a steal" and even though I can't use them, I snapped them up and hung them in the garage behind the 71.

i have a set of these in very good condition that were on my car when i bought it. were on the 14' steel wheels. i dont have a garage to hang them in. Does anyone have a desire to own them?


hey Mach, not trying to hijack your thread, sorry. just figured folks were looking at your hub caps, which are very nice BTW. I dont know that i have seen that style before. I have a set like Jim's and thought i'd mention. Thanks man.

I have my original set (a little banged up) but I did buy a set on E-bay a few years back that were like New for $35 + shipping.

I think for the condition you are right on the money, and like you pointed out, the market for hubcaps is down.
