That's a bee-yoo-tee-ful car... I just wish I liked that body style more.

BTW - don't tell my pal Jim, but I'm still kinda lukewarm on his '63.5 Galaxie 500 XL. It's nice enough... just too old for me. ;) :p

I agree 4by beautiful car highly respect the quality. Just not my personal style. HOWEVER if it was a Galaxie with the original 427 and 4spd???? I'd have to own it and be a big car guy. One shows up occasionally at our local car cruises. The old man will some times cut her loose and boy what a site.

Man that Fury has got me twitching. Wish I could go look at it. Made me think of this Satellite its a midsize B body it's still a big car to put down the track. Damn you Carter my Cbody itch is acting up again and it's all your fault.

OMG I love to hear that chatter!! I had my eye on a Satellite last year, let it get away and she was CLEAN! A standard Satellite 2 door hard top kina a teal color bench seat 383 car but stock and beautiful. My earliest exposure to cars was my brothers friends all got together for a farewell party before they went to Viet Nam and one bought a Road Runner. I personally saw a stock 440 4spd car pull the WHEELS OFF THE GROUND. Yes an off the lot car!!! Straight from the dealer!

When big brother returned he bought a 66 mustang...and well life hasn't changed since. I love Mustangs but will always highly respect Mopar.

Not bad.Because of you I have have been talking to a bloke who may be selling his 70 Plymouth gran coupe it's only a 400? not a 440 and poo brown but if the price is right.

I was given a lead to a 66 today by my painter. He had done work for the couple and they mentioned a classic they may want to sell. Turns out it was 4 blocks away tucked away in a bad neighborhood. So I take a curious drive by.....I nearly skid to a stop because what I could see from the street was "DANG". I back up, pull in the drive and I'm surrounded by Mezikins for 20 miles. I'm the only white guy out there for miles..... I get out thinking.."eehhh if I get shot everyone can say "he died doing what he loved". I knock on the door and damn it IS for sale. 383 4spd car that was a/c and has the original radio, 150 speedometer and tach. tomorrow my account may be a few dollars short.
