I'm trying to come up with a reason NOT to do this!! the car needs restore but eff'n runs and the interior is pretty nice just older, no tears, no wear, just older... . Again the interior needs redone but in my opinion passes for a HIGH standard of driver quality. I've really got to think about this to .... it makes too much sense to buy it.

383 will punch out to 496ci and nobody can tell it from a regular 383. Not to mention that I think the 66 has 1 of the coolest interiors ever.

I don't know what shipping cost are but compare this to the poo brown car? "appears" a straight easy restore from the pic's for 2500. and in our area that is a dry area little rust if any on most cars.

It would cost an extra 10 grand to put that polara or any other car on the ground here. I guess that's why Aus is full of the more desirable or rare muscle. If your spending that much extra cheese you might as well make it count

Dana how did things go with the 66 Charger.
Well I've been searching parts just to see what is out there. It seems that may be the 3rd less desirable car to get parts for behind the 71 Mustang and a 65 Chevelle. Hardly anything out there. My price offering is getting lower.

I've been covered up with work....so I may take a run at it Saturday.

That would make sense. I probably wouldnt like it if parts where easy to get lol. Just like the 71 SuperBee i looked at before i got my Mach 1. I just naturally thought the huge mopar after market would have everything you need. Iam guessing its the same for c bodies

yep... people that call themselves parts companies have the standard weather trim....hub caps and occasional chrome pieces are not much more than JC Whitney
