Just got off the phone with the #2 child who's coming home at the end of the month. I was telling him about the bantering between Qcode351mach and myself. Body folks are a special breed to have the patientce and skill to do what they do for a lifetime.
My son chose the military path and was an electrical nuke in the Navy. He is out now, working for a company in Pittsburgh that the parent company is in Rome Italy so for the last year it's been 3 months Italy 1 week home.
The college graduate never hesitates to tell me what THE BOOK SAYS about child rearing her 2 kids.
After telling Jason about the 2 Q codes delema for the week. He tells me I need to hurry up because HE'S not getting any younger!! Then proceeds to inform me about how he READ A BOOK that says to remove as much hp robbing rotating equipment as possible. Then informs me of his calculations and how much HP he'll gain if "WE" remove all the A/C (hp and weight). Maybe put in an electric fan. Drop the power steering pump belt since we're only racing strait. Reminds me the second time to hurry up on the Mach!! That's when I cut him off and told him that tall black thing in the corner with all those drawers was a tool box and hoped he did'nt have to spend his entire week home READING A BOOK on how to use them. Got the "very funny dad!" I may have created a monster.
Man I almost forgot where Qcode351mach comes into this. Told Jason about how when he gets home I'm hoping to be ready to start welding in some metal. Says he'll read up on it and do that while I work on the motor. Kids never held a stinger in his life. This should be interesting eh Q.
